original fuel system he only bought the head,block,pistions camshaft and new internals the old engine had been timed worng by a "gumtree mechanic" and cracked all pistions bent valves and cracked the cam.i have never seen this car run so it maybe even worse than it looks.
no its a vaccum on the deisel pump i have check this and it was drawing about -60kpa i assume this would be fine for a fuel lift.i dont think the high pressure side is working not shure if it is air locked.i have had the solinoid off and powerd it and it seemed to work ok it is on the back off...
Its a 51 plate clio.new crank sensor and new cam sensor so unless the new renault parts are faulty.the fuel rail sensor is getting 0.5v on crank.mybe wrong with the Mpa reading then i will double check.i will scope the injector to make shure aswell.dose the ecu need to see it a certain amount...
as title say my friend bought a clio 1.5dci as a non runner needed and engine so he bought i built and fitted,but i can not seem to get to start no fault code showing,to me seems like a fuel issue i have had another tech look at it with me to check every thing after me to make shure all is ok...
Me stu182 an a good few people We know are going should be ok was there last year as well it was good with the top 50 cars indoors and the that dome with the bike inside.(it is at ingestion/Edinburgh for any one that is interested)
i have draind the oil and looks prity clean suprised the cam wasnt shatterd just looks like its split.was considering that but not worth the cost trying to do a cheap fix to use as a run about and possibly sell but now thinking go to the scrappys get a cylindar head strip at my work new valve...
hay thanks for the help.so i striped the cylindar head off and found the camshaft has snaped:banghead: an also a jurnal has snaped causein it to grove the cam seats.my thinking is should i buy a compleate head with everything or dose any one have a compleate cylindar head they mite be selling?
so in all there are 3 timing marks on the belt and they only need to line up with the timing marks on the pullys?crank should be ok as i have the locking pin.chears mate sounds quite an easy set up.
hay i have just bought a kangoo x reg 80k on the clock 1.9d 8v with a snaped cam belt just wondering befour i go and strip the cylinder head off an see the total damage. dose any one know where to get a set up guide for the belt or dose anyone have one? (more for setting up the diesel pump)thanks
k thanks.only reason i asked this if this was a DMF is there seems to b a slight whiring noise occasionly from that area an twice it has made a sort off vibroateing noise signes of a faulty fly wheel but obv not that back to the drawing board haha.thanks again.
