Just had a quote off a local Renault specialist of £330 to fit the cambelt kit, aux kit, dephaser and water pump......i'll be supplying them. It was TW S Barker in the toon btw
Does that sound like a decent price to pay?
Not sure if this is right place, so apologies if it is.
Cheers Scott. Thats first on my list! Will probably get my old mans place to do it. Theres a bloke who works there done a clio v6 not so long ago. But i'll have a phone around some specialists this coming week and see what sort of prices i get hit with, not that bothered really as i sort of...
Just got it yesterday (friday) and set about giving it a clean today as it was manky. Took it for a spin and got some pics done :)
Well happy with it. Interior is spotless, paintwork is damn good for its age with just a couple of marks and usual small stonechips.
Jobs to do:
Cambelt etc...
I was looking at some clio's there recently. Spoke to him a few times and seems decent enough.
Missed out on a lovely 172 cup by about 5 minutes a couple of weeks ago that they had.
One little niggle though, seems the heater fans won't turn off and are acting weird when i try changing them from low to high etc. Resistor pack you reckon?
Yeh i know, just sounds a lot and is just a number. It will be loved and well looked after as i intend to keep it for a while, so i might catch you up:p
Good day one and all :D
New around here, obviously, and without a clio, but im hoping to rectify that soon! Hopefully getting my mits on a 182 either tomorrow or saturday:clap:.
Have owned a 172 before and loved it, was actually one of my biggest regrets selling it, but nvm.
Cheers
