With the RCD330 there was battery drain on 07 and older. If you have 08 and above your okay. Would guess it’s the same for the other Vw units.

I like the smg when on a long country drive. It is a bit notch on daily drives. But I find it's not as bad as the reviews I read. If you find the perfect car you can apparently do a manual box swap quite easy.

I was in the same situation. Either wheel Refurb or Csls. Just go csls [emoji23]personally think they look so much better with a little drop from eibach.

Looks great mate. Have to agree with you on the smg it's not the best on first start up. But I have got used to it and I find it does both great, great at cruising, when in traffic then on an open road can use the paddles. Those sidelights need changing though, blue doesn't match the xenons very...

Looks a nice example mate very similar to mine. Smg does take some getting used to especially like you say on hills. But I love mine now especially with the update. Adds a bit to the driving I think. I love changing with the paddles. Plans sound good. Look forward to seeing updates.
