    clio not starting (suspected key problem)

    my 51 plate clio 1.2 wont start, the red light wont go off the dash and the fuel pump doesnt seem th prime. when you try and start it the engine just turns over for a few seconds and then it stops. i think it may be the key not turning the imobiliser off, what do yous think??? cheers
