I haven’t been with Sky for over 12 months but rang them on Monday (0333 number) not the one that gets you to India.
Managed to get:
Full Sky package (everything)
HD
2TB Q box
Multiroom
Mini Q Box
Unlimited Fibre
For £80 a month
Took a grid penalty for Austria and started at the back. Managed to finish 12th but have been given Sainz as my next rival and his car is too quick for me.
Raced at Silverstone and for some reason I did far better than expected and finished 8th.
Started playing this quite a lot seen as I’d only played my career up to Russia in my first season ha.
Anyway I’m up to Austria now, still in the McLaren and Jesus the engine components are not very reliable! Concentrating my resource points on durability/reliability.
Well finished Australia tonight, did ok and finished 13th. SC came out with 6 laps to go which saves my tyres a little otherwise I'd have lost more places at the end.
Australia is one of my least favourite tracks to drive on the game so I'm glad it went ok.
Managed to have a go at career last night, opted for McLaren playing on the PS4 pad with no assists apart from lowest TC setting and on 70 (Hard) difficulty.
I was nowhere in FP1 about 5 seconds off the Mercs and dead last. Managed to improve a little up to Qualifying and started18th.
In the...
I managed to have a quick dabble on it yesterday and first impressions are very good. Seems to be better with a pad this year compared to last. Looking forward to having a good go at it this week.
Getting good reviews this year! Glad I preordered it.

Finished my first season last night. Finished 6th at Abu Dhabi after starting in the same place. I could have finished on the podium but my tyres would last more than 10 laps so I had to make 4 stops!
No contract offer from any teams at the end of the year, probably because I moved teams mid...
Last race of my first season at Abu Dhabi. Qualified in 6th which was lower than expected. Managed to get up to 3rd after lap 1 and was leading with 10 laps to go and had to pit for new tyres.
Coming out of the pit lane in 7th and the pit limiter wouldn't go off so I was stuck at 50mph. Had to...
Austin and Mexico just finished today -
Austin started on the front row and was leasing until the last round of pit stops and couldn't reel Hamilton in. Ended up 2nd.
Mexico - not really a fan of this track, however qualified on pole by over a second. Race was wet for its entirety and I...
Suzuka completed - Started 6th and was pushed wide in the first corner by Vettel and ended up in 11th. Somehow managed to get up to 3rd in a few laps but a dodgy stint on the hard tyres at the end of the race meant I finished 4th. Ricciardo is my new rival and is currently beating me by 2 points...
Singapore finished yesterday - started 10th after another poor qualifying and out qualified by my rival Sainz. Luckily for me he retired on lap 8. Managed to do a 3 stop strategy helped by 4 SC periods. Ended up 5th behind Vettel.
Monza last night - Not sure why but the AI is so slow around here. I was 1.3 seconds quicker than Hamilton. The race was more of the same, I was 6 seconds in front of Hamilton for most of the race and comfortably won. I'll be upping the difficulty for the 2nd season.
Did Spa last night - Awful qualifying session, didn't make it out of Q2 with the wet track and started 16th.
Race was awesome though, first corner accident that I just avoided and was in 12th when the safety car came out. I pitted early to get rid of the super soft tyres and went onto mediums...
That's bizarre lol!
You must have felt like Daniil Kvyat!
My 2nd race in the FI at Hockenheim, qualified in 8th and finished 4th as I went for Hard tyre strategy. Hulkenberg has retired in both races so far so I'm easily beating him as my rival.
First race in the Force India at Hungary, couldn't get a good set up in practice, but made a tweak to the wing settings before Qualifying and nailed it. Qualified 5th and finished the race in 3rd after stretching my tyres out on the first stint.
Onto Germany next one of my favourite tracks.
Just raced at Silverstone.
Qualified on pole only because it was a wet qualifying and I waited until 5 mins to go in Q3 and it was drying out. I stuck a set of inters on and was 1 second quicker than Hamilton.
Pretty decent race but by turn 6 I was in 2nd ha. Finished the race in 8th.
Got a...
I only use the braking line for tracks I've not raced at (Baku, Mexico etc) but never use it for the other tracks.
Completed Austria the other day, finished 7th after a good battle with Alonso and Sainz.
Just finished Canada in the Manor. It was a wet weekend and I found a great set up. Canada is my favourite track on the calendar so I managed to qualify in 9th. This is on expert but my R&D has been good so we are ahead of the Sauber and Renault.
The race start was carnage with a pile up at the...
