No I've not been overtightening them, they seem to either come loose and we loose the nut or the shear just above the head of the hex head to the stud.

We have just purchased a 172 (y reg) for my partner but it has developed an intermittent problem. The air bag warning light and the serv light intermittently comes on for a period of time and then goes out. Despite the local dealer having the car in and fixing the problem (Which they didnt!!!)...
