Cheers for the offers guys. I've managed to get it back together. Done a trial fit and it looks as though there it's just enough clearance. So I'm guessing these are the right ones. Will do for now anyway so I can eventually get it moted.

I've measured the bases and the one on is 18-19mm and the new one is around 14-15mm. Done with tape measure unfortunately. Do these dimensions sound about right for a 172/ 182?

Ok bolt out. Problem no2. One on the left is the replacement (I have2) It looks as though I've had 182 stubs on my 172 axle?

I'm trying to replace a stripped stub axle and have hit a snag. 3 of the four bolts have come out no problem however the fourth is being a bit of a pig and was going to resort to cutting it off and replacing. I've been to Renault and they tell me the smaller one is apparently discontinued...

Rang renault and they wanted 170 with vat to add per side. I've managed to get some second hand for 30. One question what size are the torx heads that hold the stub axle in place?

Yep my thoughts as well. Will order from Renault replacement deflector washers. You don't where I can get a replacement stub axel from?

Ok guys managed to get the nut off. Stub axel fooked but never mind. However when I took the disc off there was no dished washer?

Hi guys. I've stepped the internal thread of the hub nut trying to tighten up some play. I now can't get the nut off. It turns in both directions but won't wind off. Any tricks as to how to remove this nut?

Got them working. Tubing ess do blocked it was stopping the motor when hooked up

Just been to check. Doesn't seem to make any difference how long u hold the stalk for. Still no squirt

Hi guys. My washer jets do diddly squat. I know both motors work when swapped over to do the windscreen. However when attached to this plug on the loom neither motor works. Is there a relay I need to look at that controls these. I can't hear one clicking of there is? Please help its nearly MOT...

I'm currently trying to work out all the bugs in my 172. When my headlights are on automatic both headlights come on and then after awhile the passenger one switches off. When the lights are put in manual mode they stay on for the whole of the journey. Ideas please how to sort this.

Anyone run these on their clio? I was considering replacing mine with continentals however the wet weather grip seems to be the same. Will I notice any difference?
