Point in the 172 Cup?
Product reaching end of life cycle - revamped model to rekindle interest, sell remaining body shells, increased kudos and reputation etc for improving an already well recieved vehicle. Oh and profit.
I also think its so they could sit back and watch the endless 172 Vs...
TBH it depends on what your priorities are in life.
Like it or not the Vee will depreciate, and you WILL pick up another missus.
Can you use the Vee as a daily driver? I probably good, just about. But I wouldnt wanna park it around the missus house. I would need a daily driver or a moped...
I dont see the point in the post TBH.
The Trophy version of the 182 was the final, definitive version off the production line. When a product reaches a certain point in its life cycle it is not unusual for manufacturers to revamp it.
The Trophy is the best production 182 - Fact. Sure, you...
If you put non OE parts on your car the warranty is invalidated. It is as simple as that.
If they agree to do the work then they have either used discretion or didnt notice the work.
Its quite obvious that if you modify the car Renault will say "BYE". The fact they charged you £80.00 to do so would be another matter for me but other than that I wouldnt expect anything.
Trends I can remember....
- The great mudflap following
- White wheeled wonders
- Retro Wheels (Willy Wheels / Valver Wheels)
- DIY Stylee Hammerite Wheels
- Carbon bonnet to carbon everything
- Polished Engine Bays
- Anthracite Turinis (I maintain I was first on a non-Trophy!)
Whats next?
Definitely a follower of Clio fashions!
You can see the phases through the forum...Split rims...Carbon Bonnet....Big exhaust to subtle exhaust...Willy Wheels...White Wheels....and now on anthracite turinis!
Whats next in the line of Cliosport fashion trends!
Yup. You have to go three times though.
The first time they pretend there isnt a fault, the second time they confirm there is and order the part, the third time they fix it.
Sounds like a bit of cadence braking would have sorted that out!
I love the "insisting" on a Police Report but if it was non-injury damage only and both parties swapped details then the Police really needn't get involved.
A quick accident report will have been done and then written off...
You should expect it to cost f**king loads more.
Why not just do what I do and go onto various insurance websites, inputting the claim and get a quote?
£937 to repair the Fiesta! lol
Garages take the piss with insurance jobbies. Someone once smacked me up the arse in a Ford Ka. It had the non colour coded bumpers and all I needed was a new bumper and a new exhaust. No damage to floor pan or anything.
I saw the job sheet they had produced...
What did you get them coated with?
I only use car shampoo on the wheels no acidic cleaners as they are waxed to the hilt and dont need harsh abrasive cleaning!
