On the back of the success of the last day which was awesome there is a part 2!
hopefully this time will be drier!
Same drills as the last one.. Want to try and get as many Renaultsports down as we can!
there is already myself, another 182 and an r26 meggy confirmed!
£40.00 for the full day...
I hope so! there was someone filming later on in the afternoon! im pretty sure there is more photos to come! I never got round to taking any =/
there is another day on the 7th June same drill hopefully better weather! PM if interested :D
cheers guys :) :) lot of effort alright!!
took it on Curbourgh Sprint Course on tuesday.. had a chance to test the new 'track lights' which seemed to do the trick!
Very wet but lots of fun.. met a few guys from here! :D
too wet really to be competitive but some great sideways action! really...
cheers dude :)
they are my track lights.. I have a set of brand new xenons for road use :)
1 - lot of sanding and prep then sprayed up gloss black
2 - its a cut out with a cold air feed that links directly onto the airbox..so as cold fresh air hits the front of the car at high speed it is...
awesome man nice pics ! I didnt end up taking any.. no picture thread as yet!.. want to make one? I'll ask Sam (s15) and James (S14a) if they have any pictures :) think I saw chapperzUK getting a few snaps !
tbf tyres no! they sell michelins and stuff but they're bloody expensive! tyretraders are often one of the best I've found..
big hydraulic jack from costco is like £80 and its a proper low slung jack that lifts really high.. only jack that will fit under my car!
tool sets are good..
yeah...
I dont know him personally but i know my mate with the S15 (hes the main organiser) he will have a good go at getting his sideways!
oh and paul in the 924S porsche likes a bit of sideways action round the top bend!
I'll get there earlier to set up timing gear but if everyone arrives at 9am - we will do a walk of the track.. this is a compulsory requirement from the owners.. we will also have consent forms to sign
straight after this we will begin!
At around 12:30 we will stop for lunch plan being that if...
mmm! dont follow traffic.. kinda impossible on the m42 at rushhour..unfortunately the car is my daily driver!
awesome suggestion.. take it you cant see it... something a clean freak like me would be happy with? how much did it cost you and did you have it fitted or do it yourself?
Thanks guys :)
sorry just drooling a little! i always really wanted a MK2 golf with a vr6 conversion before the clio when I had my forged beast of an S3.. however the S3 blew a gearbox into 1000s of bits and repair bills soon scrapped my savings and ruined that plan!
can't wait there should be a real variety...
haha!!
Cheers mate... whats the best option in terms of cost/longevity.. I want to keep it looking pristine! the paint is immaculate bar the bumper as it is regularly detailed and paints well maintained
Having my front bumper and splitter smoothed and painted up next week because it's starting to look horrendous and lets the whole car down
when spending a whole day detailing the BG 182 and it looks ace its really frustrating when theres chunks missing out the front bumper!!!
whats the best...
cheers guys im really happy with the way its going.. cage and everything should be back this week so il make sure there is some more updates !
for the headlining I started off with some proper expensive spray dye..
...which was crap!
very patchy and took a whole can to get a faint tinge...
