Mine only squeal when cold. If they do it all the time and even after very heavy braking, they're probably not fitted properly.

I found PE2s were justifiable by such a good wear rate. Tyres are not a place to "budget" really, especially if you want to enjoy the car. Nothing wrong with trying something new though, but from experience, I'd be happy to pay more for PE2. Not sure if they're still being made, I remember...

You can take off the cover and give the fan a clean. I think the fan unclips easily as well. Some say it stops the buzzing, mine didn't stop completely but I'm pretty sure it was quieter after a clean.

It definitely looked better on BBC1 HD than regular BBC1 on Sky HD. Oh right thanks. I must have got a clash then as I didn't realise the later showing.

I think if you type and press space after a word quickly it autocorrects without giving the option to cancel. I find it cant handle 'nom nom nom' at all and wants to change nom to a selection of different words. There is always the option to turn autocorrect off anyway, but I find it helps...

Be interesting to see how the F1 looks tomorrow. I'm wondering if this is why the Apprentice was late on BBC HD and i missed some of it...

I've always thought this is the spoiler that should have come from Renault. It's like a mix of the 1*2 cup and trophy spoilers.

Mine cut out after about 35 miles, was waiting in the petrol station and had to push it 10 yards to the pump. I find mine comes on with about a gallon to go.

Weren't you looking for one those quite a while ago Seb? I remember a few years ago Sony used to make great ones, Humax too. Maybe worth looking into one that accepts Freeview HD if that's in or rolling out in your area soon. Grand Designs looks much better in HD lol

I've always been under the impression that the HD pack only gives you HD channels of the channels you subscribe too. I'm sure that's been in their T&Cs for a while now. I got my HD installed in June, somehow sorted half price HD if we take multiroom as we don't subscribe to sports or movies...

How are people getting on with PS3 controllers? I'm still a little undecided which platform to get it on...I love the 360 controller now but have a Logitech wheel and pedals from GT4 so would save me hunting about for the official 360 wheel. Wont be playing with the wheel all the time though.
