Currently looking for a tidy Ph1 172 but they're either high milers or low with crap service history. Is this what i should expect and simply give up or keep looking?

My girlfriend just rang me as she's on her way to work. Her Engine Management light has started flashing, she has literally driven about 500m from our house and would not have been exceeding 20mph. What should she do?

Right i'm on the lookout for a Ph1 172 and would like to (in time) do plenty to it. I've decided in my head what i want to do exterior wise but i keep hearing/reading about the RSTuner. Could somebody kindly explain what would be involved (cost wise) once purchasing the kit? who sets them up...

Please excuse my ignorance but could someone please tell me where the expansion tank is located in a 182? The car went in for a service the other day and a note was made on the level in the tank. All info details would be greatly appreciated.

My girlfriends 182 cup needs new brake discs up front, where is the best place to buy from. was looking at these http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2786 this is the sort of money we're looking to spend, is there any better discs for the money? thanks

quick question, is Iceburg Silver the only silver the 172 comes in?

Looking at one one pistonhead and do like it but just a bit wary as to how much strain the extra power will be having on the gearbox etc. What are peoples thoughts on this? thanks Lee

My girlfriend has booked her 182 cup into Renault for a service next week, it's an 05 plate currently on just under 30k. Renault have quoted £304 for the service. I tried ringing them this morning and was promised a call back but never got one. Does this sound about right for the service...

Just bought a Sony Alpha 200 which came with a Sony 18-70 lens. But it keeps showing the message 'no lens attached or shutter locked' The lens is properly attached so i'm puzzled. Any one else got or had one and experienced this?

With the exception of the one Topgeartom has just bought, as stated in his thread. There doesn't seem to be hardly any good Ph1's for sale anymore. A few months back i was interested in a couple of good uns but one unfortunately sold and the other too far away. People must just be keeping...
