Yep 100% true.
Normal high performance tyres just can't cut it in these lower temperatures. Ideally needs to be above 7-10 degrees for them.
Winter tyres really do make a huge difference, but its rare people will believe it until they have tried them or its too late.

Find the pzero neros much better than the ps3s so far. But they have only been on 1400 mile so maybe they will improve.
But so far, not majorly impressive.
Yokohama AD08s. Not the cheapest though.
Not sure what the wear is like on a 182 though. A guy on here is getting good mileage out of them in his Clio 200.
