Yeh been browsing those forums for years but only just signed up to post LOL! I gave o2 my PAC code on launch day and got a text today saying number would be ported on wednesday so less than a week! My mail pushes instantly in 15 seconds but calendar/contacts is taking up to 5mins i'd say...

This "push" business seems to be very unstable at the moment. It chooses whether to work when connected via wifi so they best bring out some bug fixes soon. Also, anyone realized that its not actually instant pushing of contacts and calendar entries! You can only pick them up every 15 minutes...

I'm pretty sure i have. Should push work over wifi as I still have no o2 connection!!!!????

Anyone got "push" working on the new iphones yet? I think it is all setup correctly but when sending test emails, my mac picks them up instantly but the iphone doesnt without me clicking get new emails. Also if i alter any calendar entries or contacts they are not being pushed from the phone...

Activation went through fine and everything synced up ready to go. Its just not picking up signal because of the o2 systems crash this morning. :( Guess i'll just have to keep working. Did you get one in the end Daz? Getting signal?

Got the last 16gb iphone from the 02 store at the mall, bristol. They have 24 16gbs and hell of a lot more 8gb. Took them so long to sign up the contracts manually though. Anyway actually getting signal with theirs yet? lol. None of the bristol o2 stores have been activated with O2 yet. :(...

Yep apparently some info got leaked so they arent taking anymore pre registrations and the time of launch also got leaked and they are now saying it will be normal shop opening time.
