My pressed plates are retroflective and i got pulled the other week and had my car fully inspected by them and they said nothing..
Don't say nothing about pressed plates on here?
As long as they have the post code and BS number stamped on them then they are classed as legal
As Chris said i wouldn't be worried what the plares are made of if i was being hit by a car

Yep i stuffed a rag all the way round between the diff and box casing and stuck a big mother of a magnet in the hole where the shaft goes..
Only way i could stop the swarf dropping in the box lol, had the box out which made it easier but have done it in situ (never again)
I live within the area and have never seen it knocking about before, Just hope the belts were not done at chemix (in the background) as they are crap at everything lol
