    But Joe, I want to be different. And I am not saying everyone does turbo conversions for them Im saying that I know of only 1 supercharged 16v engine and that was in Germany. I think the Eatons will do it and theyre relatively easy to source. Paul

    Joe, my supercharing project (the real one) has taken a turn for the worse as Ive lost the supercharger I was going to buy. b*****d! Was thinking about an Eaton from the Mercs perhaps?

    Dirty fingers mechanical question

    If I remember correctly its a 13mm bolt. Try and get hold of a six sided 1/2in socket (a good quality one) and see if that makes any impression on it. If not, attempt to bang a 12mm 12 sided socket on. All depends ofcourse on how badly rounded it is. Paul

    Yep no denying the colour is nice. And are they bigger wheels, they look the same to me, altho ofcourse thats not to say they are. I expect this is the right time to buy a mk1, as the dealers will all be wanting rid now wont they? Paul

    Yeah, know what you mean RenWill. When I was thinking of selling mine, the most I was offered was 5k, which was a fair bit under what I would have taken for it. If I was desperate to sell, then fair enough, but I wasnt. Im so glad now Ive decided to keep it. Really looking forward to pulling...
