I had all mine apart in 10 minutes yesterday ;) found a dead bee inside the filter box too!

Lol that happened to me once. It can be fixed :) just need to lever both rivets up a little with a screw driver and push the plastic bit back in :)

Easy to do :) Take the 2 airfeeds off the box, just twist and pull. Then undo the 2 jubilee clips (the one on the throttle body and the other 1 above the box) then take the pipe off and take it out then take the box out and change it over. Much easier changing it with the box out of the engine...

Is the drivers side wheel arch liner still intact?

You can get them off ebay for like £20 for 4.

Just get an ITG panel filter and some bigger diameter airfeeds. Will cost you around £60 all-in.

Your car looks awesome! If it was me I would paint the writting silver... ou can always spray over it if you dont like it :)

Mines the same only the right one works. Never had any probs with MOT, although mine has Phase 2 lights but there is still a bulb in each side.

I personally wouldnt recommend getting one. I have had mine re-fitted 3 times as over time it falls down and rattles on the rear axle due to it being made out of 4 seperate peices and having poor mounts and clamps. Its pretty boomy up until 3k revs too, but after that sounds rather good. I dont...

Ye go for white, works really well on blue cars.

Yes its a 172 spoiler just not painted. Can be colour coded the same way as you would do the other not painted parts of your car.

Excellent thanks for the pic. Mine has gone a horrible grey/ white colour so need to do the same. Did you just use a matt black colour or something else? Also is it easy to take that bit off? Cheers.

On a 1.4 I would just stick with a standard filter :) Not going to see any difference between that and an after market one.
