My missus has got a Corrado g60 and drives it like shes Colin Mcrae. Too much playing racing games on the xbox I fear!! She is a very good driver though, if anything a little bit too fast everywhere.
Its going into Jabbasport next week for a charger overhaul and smaller pulleys etc, and a...
I was running 16s for about 18 months then put my phase 2s back on and I noticed quite a difference. It was definately quicker on the uptake. handling wise I also noticed a slight improvement but not as noticeable as the acceleration.
Sorry to hear bout your bad luck m8.
Ive been away for a little while, come back and its all doom and gloom.
I have done the self same thing mate. Saw someone breaking into my car, (last car xr3i) I beat the sh*t out of him. anyway my mate lives 3 doors up and heard all the commotion and...
that sequence of film was rigged, my mates dad was there on the day they filmed that and they had to let the Porsche win. The R1 pissed all over it. But you cant have a bike beating a car on a "car video" They had Jason Plato driving the porsche and Neil Hodgkinson riding the R1 if I remember...
My mum, mates, g/f. Anyone really as long as there insured.
Im not really worried about it to be fair, its only a car. I just ask them to respect that its my car and to watch the rims.
I had wrong offset wheels on my valver and it didnt handle too well, I put the standard phase 2s on for the winter and I was surprised just how much better it handled. Am going to keep ths standard rims on now. Just gotta get them re-furbed before summer. No point at the moment while the roads...
Im open to correction Tom.
I thought the offset on a cup was the same as a standard 172.
Thankyou for pointing out the error of my ways!!!!!
Im gonna go cry in the corner now.
I cant believe how they all turn on each other. Makes the upsets weve had on here look bloody minor.
I think we should all congratulate ourselves on acting in a responsible manner and keeping our forum civilised. If we ever end up like that forum we ALL want shooting!!!
Do a search on this subject there was a big thing about it not so long ago.
Dont think you can get caught going the opposite way, as theres a lack of calibration lines etc.
about £35 for the mount and the same again to fit it. But dont quote me on that.
Just check the nut under the battery isnt loose. mine was and it solved it. You have to take the battery out though to get at it. To be fair though if its jumping out of gear then its pretty shagged.
its a mounting on the gearbox which stops it moving about too much. Too much gearbox movement equals dropping out of gear.
Go down the road accelerate then just let off and it should pop out of gear.
Clio 172 cup = EVERYONE wanting to take it for a thrashing.
I know someone who works in some offices next to our local Renault dealer, and hes always telling me about the cars that get thrashed through their industrial estate.
Even people from this forum have had unnecessary road tests and...
When that happened to me it was the idle control valve which needed replacing.
With your car being so new id take it back down to renault!
Was the engine still cold when this was happening?
drop it in 2nd that way youll be level when you hook up third, when you pull in you will have 4th. will almost feel like youve got a 6th coz u still have a spare gear (5th) to pull away in when you have completed the overtake.
