These are all really straight, no major kerbing either. Was gonna paint them etc but will just leave them as they are and abuse them on track

A small update... Picked these up today for a bargain price :D Just got to get some r888's or something similar for them. Not bothered if the tyres are road legal, they will be just for track use. Actually quite surprised how light they are

When I had the 428's fitted the car ran fine, was v lumpy and hesitant at low revs but liveable. 421's won't run very well at all on standard management unmapped. I'd be surprised if it managed to hold idle properly until correctly mapped. 428s will cause u no probs, just don't spank it...

id happily be involved in the 182 modified section ITB's, cams, etc etc arb, coilies 2118's etc etc

Had I have known the ITB's were this good, I'd have sacked off the cams. But glad there in now, it's just goes mad in last 3k :D

I don't think that's your answer mate, get your car to a specialist and work out the actual problem before throwing money at it, and potentially not solving the original problem

Matt reckons that its worth 5bhp, but it won't be happening, unless I do buy another run around and do track day trophy next year!

The extra long trumpets will show pretty similar torque peak wise, but from 3.5 k Jay & Tonys car will be at peak torque I should imagine, and will hold it to the limiter. But comparing a race car and track cars a bit silly really! The peak torque / power higher up the rev range will be good...

People are forgetting how little this has actually had done! Matts done a fantastic job considering the slam panel etc has not been touched and standard rad etc. I was offered the option of longer trumpets with all the extra but chopped away but its a daily so was no good. We gained an extra...

I think it's me lol, not used to how freely the car revs and I'm a little Ginger with the loud pedal now! The difference in non FBW is big.
