Just updated to ios on my 7, might just be me but it does seem to be running a bit faster and the new Files app is Edit:not very useful.

Unfortunately apple won't really care about sales here, it's all about sales in Asia now.

Individual it's ok, Samsung overlay over android is a bit hit and miss and the UI seems to be different on a lot of there devices. Apple stuff all works and looks the same, makes it easy to buy into the ecosystem.

They will do ok with sales I think, especially if it's well received in Asia. Until Samsung sorts out there software Apple wont be too worried.

I'd guess for videos it will just cut them down to the edge of the band. I don't see why they didn't find a away to keep the Touch ID somewhere on the phone, on the sides or back etc. If they add it back into the next phone this one will be seen a a bit of a failure.

Uses what looks like a basic IR 3d scanner so in theory should be able to deal with angles. Looks to be a bit buggy in the on stage demo, they swapped phones and it was fine after that tho.

Yeah iPhone 8 is basically the 7 with wireless charging. Touch ID has gone on X model, replaced by Face ID using IR to measure your face. Learns if you grow a beard and isn't fooled by photos or masks apparently.... Flol face ID didn't work on the demo model bit embarrassing. :tearsofjoy...

Bit of leaked info. Going to be called iPhone 8, 8 plus and iPhone X. Facial recognition instead of or alongside touch id. New camera that simulates depth probably using laser controlled flash, new video settings 4k 60fps etc.

Bit of a different what camera question, I'm after advice on a good camera for photogrammetry. (3d models from photos) Looking to spend up to a grand on the body then another £500 on a 50mm lense. What camera would give me the highest resolution shots for that kind of cash?
