Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Hmmm, my £45 contract runs out on the 24th of August, which means i'd have to pay £40 to take the early upgrade offer plus the cost of the phone.
otherwise i'd have to pay one more month @ £45 until i can upgrade under normal...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
its on one of the videos on the apple site!! and you are correct it appears to be a button on the call screen
i'm hoping as i've got just over 2 months left of my 18 month contract i'll be able to get it on release, i know the usual is 1 month before contract end, depending on spend, but i'm gonna try and push it and see what they say!? i need 720p HD Video Recording and iMovie in my life! lol
@ DK, i know in the past i lost a sim and they sent out a new one, surely we'll be able to ring up o2 etc and ask for a new micro sim for our particular contract details embedded. i cant see why they wouldnt do it tbh.
Select song in iTunes
Clip 30 seconds of the track where you want in info
Create AAC Version
Drag File to desktop
Rename to .m4r
Double click it and it will add it to the ringtone folder in iTunes
Then sync with iPhone
(this is for Windows, not sure if its the same for Mac)
My iPhone screen had a dull patch on the screen about half the size of a 5p, took it to the Apple Genius bar etc, they replaced it for a new one!
Book yourself in and ask the question!
My launch box had a paddy few months back, managed to get it working even after the 3 RROD and its still going strong, bought an 250gb elite last year for the sitting room as its MUCH quieter than my Launch box, Launch box sits in the bedroom now if the other half is watching some crap on t.v!
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
i have my itunes on my work PC, home laptop and iMac.
just make sure you set up to manually manage music etc.
what i do then if i want to add music to my iPhone at work/home is sync all purchased track to that machine then add the new tracks plus the synced...
using 2 V1.0 bt homehubs with WDS to bridge my xbox to the outside world. works a treat tbh. was worried it would be really laggy but its fine.
homehubs are cheap as chips on fleabay too ;)
as dk said, its only the xel-1 , not the whole oled production.
better explanation here! http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/16/sony-kills-xel-1-oled-tv-production-in-japan-cites-sluggish-de/
true, but they still do the same thing, my universal dock syncs my iphone and also allows me to run a line out to my amp.
what does the iphone dock do differently? (thats not rhetorical, it's a genuine question)
yeah as long as the dock has the IR port on the front it will pair up and work fine with it.
actually works out the same price though by that point as the dock and remote are circa £30 and the remote alone is £15
