I tried priming it, stuck a wee bit better but nothing great, still basically able to take it off with ease. I think its because its fibreglass or maybe the type of vinyl i bought. Giving it another try at the weekend.
Got it off ebay mate. Came from Italy
Update :)
Well finally i got delivery of my spoiler, my first impressions of it were great and honestly couldn't wait to get it on the car. This is where a whole world of problems started happening!
1st of all took the spoiler into the garage and went to start wrapping it.... The wrap wouldn't...
This is coming along really well, looks nice mate. Really like the wheels they set the car off nicely.
Also i see we are both having the same unfortunate rubbing problem on the rear tyres :/
Ach its my choice is it :) i knew it wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea. But to be honest i have had had more praise and compliments than i have criticism :)
Yeah i actually really like the coilies. Yeah they are stiff and the ride is a bit bumpy at times but apart from that i love it. Only...

As per title
Ill check my discs tomorrow, what signs would i look for on them.
I think i have, might have a second look at my top mounts. how tight are they supposed to be if you know? The way i have them just now is that their tightened down so their flush with the chassis but didn't want to ever tighten...
Was just driving back from work and was coming up to a junction and whilst i was braking the car started juddering at the passenger side.
Not too sure what this could be, I have just put coilovers on the car and new top mounts also. Im almost certain i have tightened up all the bolts i had...
Yeah seen it the other day and thought i was seeing things. Really nice car mate. You working in the procurator fiscals offices then?
Itll be a better job than mine, im one of the cleaners
i actually liked your non sport spinksy was different and stood out from.the crowd.
And yeah as you say no need for putting people down for doing something they enjoy.
Yeah some constructive criticism is not exactly frowned upon but not exactly any need for people to frankly say its...
Here comes the hate and fun police i see...
Maybe i went through the effort money and time to produce something completely different and unique. Do you see any other Clio like mine anywhere because i don't. Yeah its only a 1.2 but so what. I enjoy it and its been well looked after and plan...
Hahaa! Ach its not going to be everyone's cup of tea i suppose.
Yeah i have removed the rear adjusters and that seems to be as low as it will sit unfortunately, might actually get a set of custom springs for the rears that should sort the gap out.
I am thinking about a 172 rear bumper...
Heres a few more pics after a wash, I'll upload pics of my arches as well to show how low i have it (not having any problems when driving at this height)
Front of car
Rears
Fronts
Can't fit locking wheel nut key under the splitter (chavvy pic ;) )
Few pics front and back
Nah i didn't bother with the rear adjusters tbh. I heard that the rear doesn't go that low so just used the springs, adjusters are now sitting in my tool box. My alloys are 15" with 195/45/15 tyres (nankang ultra sport ns2) get them for a good price on ebay and their actually pretty good tbh...
25mm all round, love it tbh looks like the wheels are inline with the arches.
There's a still about 20mm away from the tyres i think, may be wrong. But i don't think ill be having anyone in the back as theirs a lot of rubbing.
should be another wee update soon as im expecting something delivered any day now, not saying what it is but its plastic and it will be replacing something as it will be an upgrade... ;)
Update time!
Finally got round to fitting my coilovers, was actually a bit worried about fitting them my self but after all the time and effort me and a couple of mates put into doing the job. im really happy with the outcome.
It all started with the backs which were basically in and out in...
