Problem I have is, Germany are dead funny with washing cars and pollution, so my car will pretty much only get cleaned when i come back to the uk unless i go to car washes (no way) so was looking for longer term protection, as it's won't get a weekly wash :(

Does anyone recommend a good basic cleaning kit? I'm no detailer, or pretend to be, but don't mind spending a little more on a few things to clean my car with and give it the occasional polish. Seen the Autoglym ones in Halfords, any good?

When googling for parts try searching for braking instead. DS2500 pads (i think) is what everyone used on here, along with Brembo discs, but don't know if they're available for none sports.

How often do you actually hear of an engine wearing out anyway. It's usually a belt/pulley failing.

6k? f**k changing the oil 3 times a year for me. Every car I've had/will own will get serviced as per the manual, my Leon's on 15k, nothing's been done to it yet either.

Cheapest I can find is £40 for 2 days!!!! Might be worth looking into that actually.
