There's a set on SXOC. 15 x 7 and 15 x 7.5 all ET17, 4 x 114.3, fresh tyres, bolts and freshly polished. He's after £600.
I know they're not 8s, but it's a set that's kicking around.
You might get away with it if you stick 50 profiles on and lose all arch gap, but even then the wheel diameter looks ridiculous compared to how capacious the arches are.
Aerocatches will be the way forwards, although I reckon a full FRP bootlid with a polycarb screen to go with them?
I'm also glad to see you bought the Holset.
Rega <3'ing. I need to sort mine out TBH.
I'm more bothered about the engine in this...
Which is an SR20 stroked to 2.2l and running a VET cylinder head amongst other immenseness to produce 740bhp at the wheels.
And it sounds so much better than a normal SR20...
Camber doesn't destroy tyres anywhere near as quickly as toe does.
I quite like it, although a bit less tuck would look much better as Chris says.
I've got -2.5 deg on the front of the SX, and the rear looks about the same as that, the front is probably hovering around -2deg ish.
Solved it.
For anybody who searches and finds this problem, I upgraded the macbook to Snow Leopard. That then showed me the firewall was blocking afp connections, which it hadn't showed on leopard. Allowed the afp connection, and problem solved.
Re: Mac "must have" Apps
I like the look of the app "Remote Mouse" that allows an iphone to become a mouse and qwerty keyboard, will be useful for my mac mini when I get an iphone.
Look at how many sets of 10,15,20 year old BBS wheels still get sold and used amongst the VAG/BMW scene though.
They're a by word for quality at the end of the day. I can totally see your points, it's a shame people won't pay for quality.
No but you get what you pay for at the end of the day, and you know those BBS will last for years upon years, whereas your cheaper wheels will be corroding after a couple of British winters.
Re: Mac "must have" Apps
No OS X update when I searched just now :S
EDIT: Gay, only for snow leopard. Can I use my snow leopard from my mini on my macbook, or do apple have a fit over licences?
