Lol, i'd just get a C63 for a few £k more.

The problem was probably down to the last time they were fitted, some pellet had probably rammed them on with an impact gun. I have McGard ones on mine, don't have any problems with them.

It's definitely snappier on mine using ART. I've changed the animation scales to .5x too, which makes it look a bit quicker.

Mine took around 5 minutes to optimize 114 apps.

You mean Android Run Time (ART)? Just the way it runs faster, can enable it in Developer Options. Assuming you're running Android 4.4 of course.

Got the drivers yeah, seen something about editing the inf file yeah. Seemed complicated lol

I tried to sideload 4.4.1 last night on my N5, adb would recognise the device and could reboot into recovery. But when I put the command in to send the file, it came back with device not found. Must be a driver issue, but it appears ok in device manager.
