    in that case u gotta hold down the central locking button on lock for a couple of seconds whilst clicking the button on the key a couple of times, it worked for me anyway lol.

    hey, i solved my central locking problem, it turned out that the company i bought the car from had not given me the main key which had the remote button on it. i had the spare which was just a key, u need to go to renault and get a new master key

    i have just bought a 1.2 clio RN (98) and the central locking only seems to work from the switch in the centre console, it wont work when i unlock the drivers door like u expected, my key doesnt have an unlock/lock button either. is it possible ive been given the spare key and the original key...
