bought a month or so back for £3200, 01 172 74k, had a K&N, short shift, 2 exhausts & cats, original and some spare alloys, spare lights, strut brace, remap, sports cat etc, Have now sold the exhausts wheels lights and k&n so its cost me about £2700, absolute bargain!

I got 42 to heathrow the other day, one way sat in traffic for 110 miles the other way constant 90. My 172 seems to do better mileage than my mates though... p.s. i bought my 172 for economy ;)

The reciepts for mine say about 370 all in, thats for the remap rolling road etc The cat and IK were 430, so thats 800 notes for 9-10bhp, hmmmm.....

Mine was by the previous owner, the before and after rr printouts show about a 9-10 bhp increase at certain points in the rev range, it did have a sports cat and new filter fitted at the same time though so im not sure what the chip alone would do

Id always wondered about a t4 conversion for a hatchback, i owned one before the clio, was a bit quicker once you got traction and was serious torque.....

Dont go for the 2.0 lump, get the bolt on twin turbo kit for the 1.2, they are sick...

I drove to town recently and managed 58mpg, can average about 36 with a bit of cruising but still reving it to 6500 every now and then

i got 181 with a sports cat instead of decat, now changed the ik for the original airbox so dunno what that would have done for it

Is that the same if its a ph1 with the later cat?

Im also after a stealth system for my car, are the gdi and ktec the best ones? Just done a search and havent fond a definate answer, quiestest would be best for me i think as i cant handle the din from my current exhaust on the motorways
