If its a project your after, why not look for a 172/182 that needs a bit of work doing? spend the next year or two tarting it up ready.

Just gone to order a new clutch for the 172 cup and the gent on the phone mentioned there's a choice of 2, he mentioned the number of splines in the clutch is the difference. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Does the light go out on the dash? when I had my immobiliser fault the light would stay on and it would only turn over for about 5 seconds before stopping itself.
