I have only seen it passing, and parked up. The other 172 cup in the pics is his old one I think.
my old 172 cup pushed over the 200 mark without itb's had extensive head work, cams re-profiled, valve seats modified....etc etc.... had filter, exhaust too.
Hi mate, I live near kendal. There is a guy there called David Cliff - think I have his number somewhere around. He is a Renault Sport Specialist. I have never been myself but I got his number from the dent guy who has done all my cars.
He has a few mates who have megane/clio sports and they...
I have lowered mine ;)
mines going to birchdown end of feb and in two minds to get the poly bush kit for the front (don't fancy it rattling even more though!)
Nothing Fletch :) still on the car, just bought a 2nd hand one incase I decide to sell (as my OE exhaust is kaput!) but needs a new bracket being welded on and I need to know where lol
Check your rear seats, found mine happened when I parked on a hill facing down (was rather steep) and with all the really heavy rain we had in cumbria it managed to build up on the top lip of the bumper find its way in through
the boot, under the rear bench, and into the drivers foot well...
Mine does this constantly! all I do to stop it is pull the rubber cover off the back and leave it off for a few days and hey bisto all clear!
I think a seal might have gone or it just has a very small amount of moister in there
as everbody stated, low brake level fluid. I used to have this problem in the T. park on a hill and the STOP light would be on. When I had my service at Birchdown. They changed disc's, pads, oil and fitted braided hose's. Ever since then its not done it :)
cheers mate - I am a member on there too (do you know his forum name) wouldn't mind seeing them, never seen a trophy with painted calipers - beats old tired looking ones!
Its not just the bonnet - the deepest one is on the bonnet (along with stone chips lol) but the door has a few marks on - Only being honest in a sale you see. I asked for a price around 8 months ago to sort out all the scratchs and give it a good polish from the garage - £700 it was going to...
its not in your face damage - like a big dent, just some small scratches - and a deep one on the bonnet (from last owner dropping a washing lance on it)
is it worth getting some body work done on the car before you sell or knock the amount its going to cost off the price your selling it for?
If I get some done it will make the car easier to sell but also make the car a true mint condition one which makes me think "should I sell?"
cheers Rich
As I said its hard to describe! maybe down to tires or warn joint/bush somewhere I don't know? Just thought i'd post up to see if anyone else has/feels the same experience.
Hard to discribe...but when you turn normal there is some resistance, but when you turn on full lock - like you are wanting to park somewhere the steering goes very light on full lock as if its not attached, and the wheels seem to judder (like your trying to make the car go in a straight line...
Only really fully noticed this the other day but when Turning slowly on full lock, the wheels seem to 'jump' and the steering feels very weird?! like loose/not attached....
any body else have this? I wondered if it was down to worn bush's etc....
