Thanks for comments guys.
Malice, you speak sense.
It's a 200sx s14a touring. Comes with cream leather seats, aircon as standard.
Rich - brakes are poo. They are the standard ones. I'm looking at possible upgrades. They come with 4 pots as standard but need to look around on what discs...
Thanks for comments guys. Scutch, couldn't get insured on a p1 until I was 23. Some insurance companies won't touch me until i've had a years insurance on a p1 with somewhere else. Actually I think that may be all imprezas not just a p1.
I'm loving it. Gave it a propper good clean today...
Did I say anything about racing him? having more power than him?
What i'm saying is, it costs an awful lot of money to modify a n/a engine. Turbo engines are a lot cheaper to modify for bigger power.
I don't know why I bother posting things up. Majority of comments have been congrats, nice...
I met Tim down there. He bought his 172 in to have one of the sensors taken out his sports cat as the emission light was on. Nice chap and seemed to like my car.
Maz/Jay - Not sad to see the v6 go at all really. They are not that good. Handling wasn't upto much, and performance isn't shocking...
Only just noticed the meet. Can't make it tomorrow night.
I need it rolling roaded but with the mods it has at 1bar its running about 290-300bhp. If I turned the boost upto 1.2bar then it would be way over 300bhp. I need to uprate the clutch to do this really though.
Sold my v6 today. The guy that bought it knows about this site and v6clio.net so he may register soon.
Here is my new car. Picked it up today, drove it straight to Cardiff and Charlie @ Prospeed changed the exhaust. It originally had a massive 5" or so tailpipe and was very very loud so I...
jesus christ that thing is fast. Sounded like my v6 when I had the covers off the engine today and had to drive it.
Handled really well to. Was it a cup?
Dave, as said in my other thread. Take it to Renault Telford and ask for Andy in the service department.
When I went in there today some bloke came in wanting a service booked, they got him in that very same day and managed to give him a courtesy car for a couple of hours.
I'm sorry but Greenlight don't cover much. I don't think their much of an insurance company to be honest. They only cover what they want to!
I'm currently with Greenlight and I can tell you that i'll be leaving in less than a month from your company. Not because of the prices you charge which...
I think I know mate, i've got to take off the covers, take off the 3.0 plastic cover and they are near the front of the car (nearest the seats).
There's 3 under the inlet manifold which I won't be able to get at without taking it off. I just hope its not one of those.
With renaults diagnostic check tool can they tell exactly which coil has gone? So if it's one easily accessible then I can replace it or if they tell me it's one under the inlet mani then i'll probably have to get them to do it.
