    had the polish out

opted for some toyo t1-r's, got a good deal thru work on them. yeah i used meguires on this, usually an autoglym man as i own a flame red corsa, its the only stuff that keeps it red, but on the clio its easier and quicker to use meguires. comes up nicely! few little clips and one or two...

    had the polish out

Bought this car from a member on here a few months back, gave it a new set of tyres and a polish today: happy with it so far, trying to resist the temptation to bolt my throttle bodies on it...... or mod it in general!

    my dyno results

my 172 cup with piperX panel filter made 166bhp on our rolling road. as for remaps, id say Wayne @ chip wizards is one of the best out there, having seen alot of cars he has mapped (he used to use our dyno) the results he gets are great. I wouldnt have any issues about using him to map my car...

Cheapest Place for pipercross induction kit

are there any good high comp pistons for the 172?

If you call me at work, Jam-sport on 01604 755529, i can do some forged pistons with a 12.6:1 comp ratio. made by woosner. pretty sure i can source some rods for you aswell, whats the engine code?

How faster is a Golf mk4 turbo than a 182!?

owning a golt 1.8t with about 200bhp (remap, exhaust and and air filter) id say on the motorway it would have the edge, but between roundabouts etc i dont think it would have a chance.

    Difference between cup etc.....

when iv spend over 1k on a crank for my other car it seems cheap lol! dont intend to tune it stupidly tho to be honest! defeats the point of it being a daily runner when i have something in the garage to spend on

    172FF Vs Fiesta ST

Standard for standard the st is no match for a 172, its heavy and slow in comparison, however we have tuned a fair few now to over 200bhp, against a 172 they then are more than a match for it, they handle well out the box too. There are a few 2.3 converted st's about now too which make things...
