I love cleaning cars, but im afraid i am part of the autoglym crew...just using SRP and then EGP, which is boring, ive seen alot about clay bars. So i want to have ago,
a decent affordable one?
Cheers
dan
I just bought some Bosch ones (Only because i got some for my missus car and they have lasted ages)
But they look alot better, the wipers have been on the car a while and they are s**t, these new ones are spot on!
The bosch ones were £17 from Euro Car Parts
Yeah very true, the car has only done 40k thou! But hey, at least it was found at the garage not the side of the motorway!
Could this be due to wrong coolant?
I'm a HGV mechanic and we generally use the standard blue coolant, but i know some of them are meant to have inhiberator in with it...

I've been recommended these, just ordered some, and for £1.68...Bargain!
I took my car to a local Renault specialist today for the cambelt, they've started stripping it down and noticed the water pump is weeping and the bearings are f**ked.
I told them that there was a wurring noise as if it was a idler bearing as i've been reading on here that the water pumps are...
Check your linkage before ripping out the gearbox mate...and if it is the clutch like James said, change the release bearing and spigot bearing tbf...!
i have toyos on mine, they seem alright but not too grippy in the wet, makes the car want to understeer a little!! but then they were on the car when i got it, always buy the best you can afford thou like Matt says!!
I just had my air con re-gased as it thought that was the problem but it turns out its not,
he plugged in his diagnostics machine and it found 2 faults, the internal temp sensor was reading -67c which was the code ; DF007 and another one was DF118 which i couldnt see what it was.
is this...
I bought a LED bulb of ebay thinking it was the right one...but guess what, it isnt :(
The one i ordered was a festoon bulb...but i just have a standard bulb 12v 5w.
Anyone know of any decent ones of this type?
Thanks
dan

Thank you, seems like a brilliant website tbf mate, there seem to be so many people wanting to help! :)
I will give them both a ring tomorrow to get a few quotes, but I have PM'd a guy on here that works at Harts in Honiton, but it wont hurt to get some quotes, so thank you very much!
Where...
I just phoned up Renault for a price, and as she was checking through the details of the ar against the chassis number and she said it was Metal Blue?
Is that a colour, i thought i bought a Monaco blue car...
Or does this wonderful lady have no idea what she is on about?

Hi there guys, ive been looking at buying a 172 for some while now, and i now have the dollar to be able to support it, and now being 21 can easily insure it! I believe its a 52 plate car, 56k, black...there seem to be a fair few around, why do you all want to get rid of them??
