would need a press at a guess to push the old bushes out then the new ones in?
i know the mounts themselves are easy to take off and on though, if its anything like my 1.6 though you have to make sure the counterweight is set up correctly otherwise the engine will bang around.

Pulled fuse as i was having problems with the central locking and was getting sick of setting the alarm off.
put fuse back in as i think the central locking is ok but alarm isn't working now??
any ideas people?
well........
changed the gearbox mount yesterday noticed the negative battery terminal was loose.
after changing the mount etc the central locking "seems" to be working, dont wanna jinx it yet though lol.
the only prob i have now is i took the fuse out last weekend, put it back in...
i had a quote the other day for a UCH for my car, albeit a lesser model its probably a similar price to yours, it was £176+vat plus about an hours labour, so only around £260 with my local renault specialist.
the problem i have is thats what they think is stopping the central locking working...
bit of advice sell your clio's lol! i'm fed up with my clio creaking and cracking and generally being noisy but i except the fact its french and the build quality is not outstanding. had nothing but problems with my clio in general so its time to sell up i reckon!

i give up with this french piece of s**t! i used to love my clio and now with all the problems i've had i hate it!
quite upset really, but i think german is the way forward next!
just to let people know in case they do a search,
i pulled the fuse out of the alarm module (in effect stopping the alarm and sensors etc) and i've not had one problem with the RCL since!
Piece of crap cobra alarms! clifford or toad is going to be replacing it!
