That's not a ph1 airbox you will need the cylinder type .

Welcome adam you might need a good set of white wheels to go with the white stripes

If it was a dropped valve , better off putting a good second hand engine back in .

People on here tend to look after there cars and if I was looking this would be the first place but its your money so good luck on the auto trader .

No paper work and the dealer did not know don't sound to good to me best get them done better to be safe than sorry.

I would be cheaper to put a second hand engine back in .

Put it back to std and sell the bits

Re: dmallett's titanium ph1 That's what I thought , put a new icv on it checked for air leaks all ok on the 3rd tb all cleaned & no luck , and now trying to see if I can get an uprated spring made to make sure it will close

Re: dmallett's titanium ph1 I have the same prob , I have stripped the spring off the side of a spare one and sent in to a company that makes all kind of spring to see if they can make one with a bit stiffer spring so It will close better .

Mine used to be ok 1 day then the next spin over and would not start I would leave it for a bit and then I would fire up , put a new tdc sensor and solder the loom on it and now on the button first time

Yes mine used to spin like that till I had It changed .

better off sending the engine to mike to just around the corner to do the belts I bet he would pick it up and price it all

Yer they come with the letter s on the caps

Mine was over fuelling because it was not getting up to the right temp , changed the temp sensor switch and thermostat and coolant and now runs spot on .

What temp on the gauge mate does it warm up
