Of course not, this is Renault we are talking about.
The car went in for the 3rd time today to get the knocking from the front done and the 3 beeps when setting the alarm after closing the door. They also took at a look at the exhaust for me.
And out of those 3 things they fixed exactly...
Once again its up against cars massively more expensive yet still holds its own. Martin Brundle loved it "A mini racing car that changes direction than almost anything here. A great surprise".
They also post a lap time for it around Anglesey, but I wont post that so as not to spoil it...
Hello,
This morning on my way back from Manchester I hit a rather large pot hole. I saw it coming so was going very slowly, but couldnt avoid it totally as I was on a single track road. The jolt caused this to pop out into the passenger footwell...
At least its a bit different on the 182. Ive not lost a ball this time, instead they have just stopped working. It doesnt make a difference if the lights are on auto or turned on by the stalk.
I suppose Ill have to hunt for a fuse at the weekend.

Has anyone use these guys http://www.etyres.co.uk/http://www.etyres.co.uk/
My boss is just ordering some tyres from them, which will most likely be fitted tomorrow.
Looks good to me so I reckon Ill use them if they do a decent enough job.
LOL, check out the sellers name, its hardly rocket science. ;)
Its RafChandlers.http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=16&TopicID=115876&SearchPagePosition=1&search=rafchandler&searchMode=allwords&searchIn=Author&forum=16&searchSort=dateDESC&ReturnPage=Search Link
Evening,
I seem to remember someone on here had the beeping alarm problem on a 182 fixed. Does anyone know what causes it and how to fix it as my local dealer hasnt.
It went in last week and they reset the alarm, then it went in yesterday and apparently Cobra told them how to fix it...
My car is in again today to get some of the things which couldnt be done last week sorted.
That being, creaking steering wheel (new part had to be ordered), knocking from the front right (they did the strut top mod, but that wasnt it) and also the 4 beeps on the alarm and the doors locked...
I dont think this has been posted before, but have any other 182 owners noticed an alarm noise from the car when you hit roughly 140mph as indicated on the cars speedo?
It sounded a little like the buzzer that goes off when you leave your headlamps on, although mine doesnt actually seem to work!!
Ive just been chatting with a friend whos having a problem getting some tyres for his Ibiza Cupra. He needs 195/45/16 ZR.
I said thats a bit of overkill for such a slow car ;) and he said he had to replace them with the same tyres as not fitting the OE tyres would invalidate his insurance...
Ive had the b2 since March of this year and not once has the laser detector gone off.
This morning Ive driven Birmingham to Gatwick and back. Near Birmingham it went of, so we all looked around and there was a police car parked on the opposite side of the motorway in one of there hiding...
Thanks to Edde I have an autochanger cable for the existing head unit in my 182 and the autochanger I removed from my 172. The cable has however been cut and rejoined.
When I connect it up it powers the unit but isnt recognised by the head unit as being there. Is there something I need to...
Ive just removed the autochanger from my 172 but no way can I get the cable out. Does anyone know if the cable is already likely to be in my 182 or am I going to have to fork out for a new one?
If so, does anyone have one?
Thanks

They rarely have a bad thing to say about Clios, excpept for the build of course. But then seeing as the inside of the boot on a Turbo 2000 doesnt even have a lining, they can talk. LOL

Im sure this has been covered before but I cant find it.
The order form says Artic but people keep refering to it as Arctic blue. Which is it? Jeremy?
Thanks

If anyone wants one there doesnt appear to be a shortage. They seem to be breeding at Renault Birmingham.
Ive also been told that Renault have a load of them in storage still and are slowly letting them into the dealer network.
Anyone else got any problems after Scotland.
Ive got a few:
Ive just been to the doctors with a chest infection!!
Any remaining baffles in my exhaust (after y0z drove it) are now left somewhere over the Scotish highlands. Sounds nice though, just not when hungover.
Speed limit, whats...
I think we need a thread of quotes which were made during the Scotland trip.
Ill start off with a few choice ones:
Lee M to Pootle: "I bet you never expected to see the shift light in 4th on a road like this did you". :o
Pootle to Lee M: "Did you just take that last corner at 90mph" :o...
My Origin B2 arrived this morning so Ive just spent the evening neatly running the cables. I made a nice neat job of it if I do say so myself.
Id already updated the unit at work earlier today and all that went okay. Dropped it in the cradle and nothing, totally dead. :(
All I can think...
Ive been looking at getting one for a while and will certainly be buying one before the Scotland trip.
So far Ive considered the Road Angel, because it does what it says on the box and the Origin B2, because it does all that, and more should I want to do more.
I know a lot of people on...
If I was to purchase a new Renault using a friends and family discount would this be a discount on top of anything I had already arranged with the dealer or would it be a set amount off the RRP of the car?
Does anyone know roughly how much this would be off a 182 with Cup pack?
Cheers

Just a quick one.
I told my insurance company Id do 16k miles this year and have just gone over that. The policy expires on the 5th of March anyway.
Could this causes a problem in the event of an accident. Its easy for them to prove how many Ive done as the car was new when I got it so the...
I decided if Im going to keep the Clio a little longer then the exhaust has to stay too. I couldnt live with it being so quiet without it.
Ive called around 10 insurance companies with me finally settling with Tesco who have charged me £912.45 with a £350 XS. This is everything including...
Is there anything I need to know about re fitting the original exhaust to my 172. It was cut into two pieces when removed so I assume I need a sleeve to re join the parts?
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
Thanks
Lee
