I had mine replace and it started leaking all its gearbox oil at the same end as yours. I ended up buying a brand new drive shaft from renault because I couldn't source the parts to fix the other one.
Has it stopped clicking then mate. Only because to look at mine looked fine but odviously wasn't. Bonus if it's all good though. Saves you pennies. I bought some new top mounts aswell. Mine basically had all new suspension and stuff. They can piss you off with the noises they make.
Yeah I know I've had mine packed over the years but it just gave up in the end and the clicking just got louder and embarrassing lol. I had a brand new one fitted yesterday. Miles better. Some more noises coming from somewhere else now.
Mine just made a horrible clicking noise for a very long time. It did vibrate a little. But now I need my tracking done and new front tyres lol . The joys. Where did you source your drive shaft from in the end?
It would be a shame I'd you sold it mate after all that hard work you've put in. But understandably it does take its toll. I wouldnt give up on your hobby though mate its what you enjoy.
Right people little more help. I can find the cv boot on euro boot I can't find the cv joint kit. Do they not do them?. And I'm guessing the kit has to be specifically for a cupped 182?
I've just changed my drive shaft because it was clicking. Went for a drive and it's leaking gearbox oil though the metal seal. So I'm thinking if I buy a cv boot kit will it cure the clicking on my original shaft? Or can the metal seals be fixed?
Thanks
