Gearbox whine in 2nd, 3rd and 5th. Burnt oil.
I suspect my manual gearbox has a leak as the gear noise increases as I turn corners and go up hills. Burnt oil can be smelt in the car. No oil is found on my drive so the leak is considered minor.
