Yeah seems fine, the gear selection process is completely different now, so much more fluid. What annoys me tho is im going in for a operation soon and wont be able to walk for 6 weeks, I booked my car in for its first service but renault wouldn't do it because it was early... by about 3-500...

So, picked the car up yesterday, all seems fine as it goes. In fact I'd say it drives better than it did when it rolled off the forecourt 10 months ago or whatever it was.

Oh really? What for a flywheel issue? Mines had the peddle box, slave, clutch & flywheel replaced lol.

Update- Out of nowhere... despite that there was apparently no flywheels available in the UK they seem to have had a random delivery & I will collecting my car this afternoon...

I can see what you are trying to say. But if you take two identical vehicles and put one on a premium tyre & one on budgets, You will notice a difference. I've had many years in motorsport & tyres play a massive part in vehicle performance. Not to mention that many budget brands will wear a lot...

Chaps, Some of you may of seen my thread regarding my 200. As it currently stands there was an issue with the clutch & flywheel which after the dealer blaimed on me has been found to be a factory fitment issue. Ren UK are paying for this but the new issue is that the Flywheel is on back order...

You've kind of answered your own question there... The fact is they are a budget tyre which are never as good. You tend to find how good your tyres are when you push them.

Pov spec ditch finders. Your tyres are the only thing between your car & the deck so it pays not to buy ditch huggers.

My favourite is Pearl White hense why I own one. But I love the racing blue's & storms as well.

I haven't (touch wood) had any issues with my gearbox (2012). I think it often depends on how sympathetic the driver is.... But there is no doubting that it isn't the strongest of boxes.

Update: This is being covered by the warranty in its entirety. But unfortunatley the Flywheel is on back order and they don't have an ETA on when it's going to arrive :boring:

I would. As I said the guy in service openly admitted to me there's a mod for it as its a recognised fault.

Apparently it's a well known fault with the peddle and they have a modification for it...
