From that pic of it underneath, it looks like you may have got the bearing upside down, so the metal collar thing in the centre, isn't sitting flush with the rubber bit.

And yes 2.0 springs are different to 1.2/1.4 springs. To compensate for heavier engine.
But that blokes will fit on yours. Although you are right they are known as 1.2's and its an "edition" not "addition" lol.
Have you got a battery charger at all? Or another battery you can swap it with just to test if it is your battery?
If you've got a multimeter, measure across the terminals, it should read 12v, then with engine running this should increase to around 14v.
