You'll think that but you need mid bass to get a decent sound, trust me on this! Also, I find a 10" sub more bearable and less of a thunderbox. Just sayin'.
Oooft dem pipes!
That's stunning, literally can't believe the condition it's in! Hat's off to you sir.
Do you have any pics before it was so immaculate or has it always been this well kept?
The ones I have only run the HPF to the tweeters so it's fine. To be honest I didn't think about the ones that run it to the door speakers as well.
To the OP, if you get components that run the crossover to both the door AND tweeter, ignore the way I did mine.
Regarding removing the rear speakers, I have some coaxials in the rear, not by choice, they were in when I got the car when I got it. When I took them out it sounded a lot worse, they do provide a bit of surround for me anyway. Change the fronts, it's not an afternoon job, it's an hour job max...
There is a market for yozzas, have a look in the for sale section, if you've not yet signed up then I suggest you do as you can access the for sale section and the technical guides then. Someone will probably do a swap with you which makes it less hassle.
I'm also interested in this, so including 15mm and above it's hubcentric, right? Can anyone tell me the length bolts I'll need if I were to fit 10mm spacers?
Got to agree on this, it's a good drive! Can't remember exactly where it is but there's a pub by some big cliff bit and there's usually a load of caterhams there.
I'm 25 but look like a 12 year old so I suit the cup quite nicely. Love it when the 17 year olds don't realise it's a 2 litre when they're sat revving at traffic lights.
