My old 1.4 16v was running 97.6 bhp :rasp:
The noise from the K-tec zorst sounds good but it looks cack imo, looks as if it's pointing downwards which doesn't do it for me at all.
The cup looks better with a bit of dirt around it's ankles anyway so I doubt i'll be cleaning mine. The meet is in the afternoon so I might do weather dependant.
You have an adjuster to the right of the steering wheel by your knee.
You can also adjust each one manually and individually with an allen key on the actual units.
I fitted some ebay sidelights. I might remove them though tbh.
It depends on your budget, if you can afford it get both springs and dampers otherwise a decent set of springs will do fine.
Any off the shelf kit will fit without problems, providing your wheels aren't drastically different from the factory fitted ones.
I'd replace it to be safe tbh.
Clean all the grease off, horrible stuff but then at least you can monitor it for the time being to see if the area get's covered in it again.
Previous owner has had an amplifier in there and not bothered to remove the wiring before sale.
If you want to use the 6x9's an amplifier is your only option by the sound of things.
You don't need a sub btw as long as the 6x9's you have are 3 way, they can push out a respectful amount of...
Thanks for that pic carl, I think I'm settled then, K-tec it is. Did you say yours is the supersport?
I'll have to have a listen if your going to that Preston meet on the 10th?
It's interesting to read this as I've noticed quite a severe difference coming from my dynamique which had standard disks with Ferodo pads with drums on the rear, the brakes were excellent on that but the cup feels quite scary tbh and the disks are supposed to be bigger and all round. It might...
Adjusting the height only throws everything out of line anyway so you'd be silly to keep fiddling with that unless of course you can get mates rates on a full setup.
I've got mine at full stiff atm, I might adjust them as proposed by cookie-jnr tomorrow and see how it feels.
You got the FK Konigsports?
Sweet, guess you didn't FAIL like me when fitting them though ha!
I'm running on the stiffest setting btw, I'm a real hero yo.
Did you manage to keep the covers for the rear shocks from the standard ones at all?
