What I did to work it out, With my headunit, I unplugged the wiring harness, then used two spare bits of wire, and just pushed them into either side of both the connectors, then only one speaker at a time made a sound, depending on which wires in the harness I'd 'joined' together, I knew which...
Ah thanks for the help. Yea I never originally planned to get an exhaust, but Im running out of things to do on my car lol.
Yea I've got a Powertec Cone induction kit already, it does sound quite good when you boot it lol.
Wickid mate, if you could let me know how you get on with the Ktec...
I've got a 1.2 16v mk2 ph2 Clio, and I've got it how I want in terms of looks wise, with coilovers, alloys, 172 rear bumper, seats etc.
I was just thinking about maybe a new exhaust as well. I'd quite like one that would maybe sound a bit sportier. I don't want a really loud chavy one though...
As in wiring harness? You shouldn't need one for connecting an aftermarket headunit in a Clio. The wiring harness that comes with headunits will plug straight into the Clio loom.
Unless your talking about screen/stalk controls.
I don't know anything about headlight washers, as I've got a nonsport, but Fubar has a guide for removing the front bumper if you do find you have to go about it that way:

The aerial wire on the Clio has this connector on the end:
I needed this to connect it to my alpine headunit:
Aerial Adaptor
(Im not sure on the names so just thought I'd post pics lol)
EDIT: for a mk2 ph2 anyway, don't know if its the same for a ph1 - sorry!
Do you mean something like one of these for a distributor block?:

I'd have thought for the power cable, if you lay a 4AWG cable from the battery to the amp now, then when you later add another amp, use one of those...
haha I honestly didn't post that implying that's what you should've done! I literally just thought I'd post it because I remembered it and I thought it might help :)
Basically, I wired it through the rubber door loom thing using a straightened coat hangar. Then to get it through the plastic connector into the actual car shell, I found two holes in the connectors that didn't already have pins in them, then forced a tiny screw driver through, careful not to...
No its easy.
You can do it without taking the dash of, if your careful. But sometimes they don't quite line up correctly with the little grills on the dash.
The plastic grills on the dash twist and then lift out. Even if you just have a look to see what they look like,
But taking the dash off is...
Depends what you want from them really. If you want the easiest solution it would probably be Pioneer, they do a set which is a direct swap for the Renault Clio standard ones, which includes replacing the dash tweeters and door speakers.
You will notice some difference just by changing the standard renault ones to some aftermarket ones without amping. I did anyway when I just swapped the standard renault door speakers for some Sony coaxials. Well they went to a higher volume before distorting anyway.
I didn't try my components...
So clay and wax every 6 weeks, does that mean just clay, shampoo and wax?
Only do all the above polishing/sealing once/twice a year?
And quick weekly washes, just shampoo and quik detailer, or what if I use something like demon shine after washing just make it extra sparkly?
So if I just use my megs Gold shampooey for a regular wash. Anything else? Maybe SRP now and again if I want it extra shiney!?
Yea I use the two bucket method with wash mitts :)
Ahh just finished!
I only started at 12 lol. 6 hours. My arms hurt like hell all that applying and buffing!
Does look good though :) Although it will probably rain tonight and all that work will have been for nothing.
Just wondering, now I've done all that when I next come to wash it, say...
