I've never had a renewal through that was cheaper. It's nothing new. They just hope you'll accept and pay. Go and do a quote with Admiral as a new customer and you will find it's probably about the same as Elephant.

I'd be going component cable for the Xbox and calling Virgin and seeing if they will do you a deal for a newer V HD (not the V+) box and use HDMI for it. In fact, I think it's £49 for the box and you get all the non-premium HD stuff for no extra charge. They will even give you an HDMI cable...
Even if the iPad does eventually enable calls it's not going to be a phone replacement. I rarely take a bag out (like the majority of men I'd imagine) so where would it go?
As has been said just get both and complete your collection, or 'orchard' if you will ;) with an iMac/MB(P).

If it does have a trip computer, you can cycle through the different modes by pressing the button on the end of the wiper stalk. It has three dots on it.
Osram nightbreakers are pretty good but nothing is going to look white next to a proper HID light. To get the proper effect you'd need to fit an HID kit to your fogs. This however is a total waste of time and money. Just leave the bulbs as they are. Not worth the hassle given you will only...
