It's still useable but it's a lot harder to control, even with the foregrip which a lot of folk are now saying is pointless. Seems to rally through bullets quicker too. Yeah, the 500 tickets thing was crazy. I'm not sure it was 500 though, more like 650/700. The games lasted ages too.

No new maps apart from the Back to Karkand DLC. I was playing on the patched game last night. Conquest server, 500 tickets looping on Operation Metro. Played about 4 games which lasted a good while. It would be quite easy to pick up massive points on these new servers. Oh and the Famas...

Yeah as said, you can rent servers for a certain amount of money. I know for a fact that on the EA BF3 forums there are guys who have rented a server and are playing 24 hour Conquest games between them for members of their clan. That's one hell of a sure fire way to bump your points tally up...

Not so good after the patch mate, the FAMAS has been given a good underpowering. Recoil is also a b*stard apparently. Where the hell is the 360 patch FFS?!

I'm with Sky in a little village in Cumbria and my speed is around 1.9mb/sec max. Pretty decent I think, considering what it was 10 years ago or more. Still, looking at a few results in here is a little annoying.

I hope they've fixed the little bug that inflicts up to 200 deaths on you when you haven't even entered the battlefield. That is such a funny little glitch...

Will be interesting to know this, because I chose a Nord and the storyline seems to revolve around the Nords anyway. For those that have chosen other races as well as Nord, does the story remain the same?

Most of the weapons and add-ons have changed since the patch anyway, according to a couple of mates on PS3. The USAS isn't as awesome, the Famas has far more recoil and the foregrip is pretty useless at anything further than mid-range.

Rumours that the PC and 360 patch will be delayed even further now. It was supposed to be tomorrow but now that's not guaranteed.

Wow. They've included "paid" shortcuts like they did with BC2. So you can pay for the best weapons etc. if you're new to the game and can't be bothered waiting to unlock them. Didn't think they'd go down this route but money is money I guess...
