    liquid yellow 182

Don't suppose anyone has a link to it? Even though it's ended wouldn't mind having a look I did try to find it when OP posted this and couldn't find it so thought he was just winding us up haha

    ***How much is it worth?***

Completely understand buddy The main thinking was I could be doing a fair few miles each year (up to around 15k is a possibility) So I've got a choice - get one low mileage and by the time I'm done it should be around normal mileage, or get a high mileage one and carry on racking the mileage...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Good point! Yes mate, I'd say I'd roughly be looking at having it 2 years at a rough guess - Put it this way if I paid £200 or whatever more than it's worth but it gives me no issues I wouldnt care Put it this way I don't mind paying that bit more, just don't want to overpay and find it gives...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Appreciate it a lot mate! Yep as you said, been looking at them for 6 months now, and this is the only one which has really tickled my fancy tbh, but seems it's slightly overpriced - I don't mind paying slightly too much if it's exactly what I'm after I've been looking at the following almost...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Budget would be about 4k, if I'm honest for that I'd want Turini's with it and Recaros' as well, or seriously low mileage etc By choice I'd be looking around the 3kish-3.5kish mark for something sub 70k miles, tidy, full fat, full service history with the belts done (preferably specialist)...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Appreciate it buddy, Don't mind paying a little bit over the odds if it's exactly what I'm after, just fed up of waiting haha

    ***How much is it worth?***

Arctic Blue 182 Full Fat Full Service History Tidy and not needing anything done Preferably low mileage (had in my head sub 70k for some reason) but I know service history is more important - really want under 90k mileage as a maximum though

    ***How much is it worth?***

Cheaper than £2500? By choice I'd rather have one of here, but after waiting/looking for 6 months (I've had a wanted add up for 4 months) I'm starting to get a bit impatient! Nothing has come up on here really which I'm after, admittedly I'm being a bit fussy This one should be fairly well...

    ***How much is it worth?***

Yep that's the one, it's a bit of trek from me too, otherwise I might of had a look As you said it's been on there a couple of weeks, and I think he's dropped it by £100 fairly recently Still think it's slightly overpriced but does look tidy, Seems like if you could get it for 2.5k that...

Cheers buddy, would you say if I got it at that it would be a fair price?

    ***How much is it worth?***

What would you be looking to pay for the following : 05 Arctic Blue 182 Full Fat 82000 miles 3 Previous Owners FSH, mostly Renault Main Dealer Cambelt and dephaser done 1000miles/9months ago by Renault Main Dealer Good all round condition, alloys do have a couple of kerbing marks Cheers

    Thoughts on these alloys...

Agree completely, it's just the sides of the spokes are less visible making them look thinner. Here's a real photo of them on my Corsa : It's not just the Photoshop making them look better, just the darker colour PS : No Corsa hate please haha, I'm currently looking to get a Clio so cut me...

    Thoughts on these alloys...

Here we go for those who asked for Anthracite: Unfortuntaly I'm fairly confident that I've edited them on a Mondial Blue 172 Cup, rather than an Arctic Blue (which they'd be fitted to) Just wanted to try a different image to see what they'd look like... If I'm honest I'm still not sure about...
  15. Jimbob 2705

    Thoughts on these alloys...

If I'm honest, they aren't meant to be matte black - just it's quite difficult to keep the reflections in Photoshop I'm finding - they'd be a dark glossy grey I'd be going for. Yep, I'd need the bore enlarging on the actual wheel - Never realised you could get adapters, I'll look into it! I...

    Thoughts on these alloys...

Can't seem to edit the original post, so here is one with them at a more realistic size (assuming the Turini's in the original photo are 16") :
  17. Jimbob 2705

    Thoughts on these alloys...

16's, I've just realised that I've probably photoshop'd them on a bit big!
  18. Jimbob 2705

    Thoughts on these alloys...

Remembered I've got these alloys in the garage, so decided I'd photoshop them onto a 182 to see what it looked like : Slight issue is that I'll need spacers as they haven't got much offset (ET49 I think), and also the bore will need enlarging slightly - But I suppose I guess it a way to have...

    Stamped Service Book...Is that enough?

Now I'm starting to look very seriously at 182's I'd like some of your thoughts on Service History People say buy on Service history, not mileage, which I agree with Problem I'm finding is that I want something fairly low mileage (Prefersbly sub 70,000 miles) and finding something with good...

    Arctic Blue vs Black Gold

That standard cup suspension Dann? Or is it on Coilovers? Just looks a nice height

    Arctic Blue vs Black Gold

Thanks all! Decision made....Arctic Blue it is! If I lived in town it would of been Black, as keeping on top the cleaning would of been fine, but I don't fancy cleaning my car only to find by the time I've gotten into town that it's filthy! Well I think I've decided with Arctic Blue, although...

    Arctic Blue vs Black Gold

I think Arctic Blue would be the best option for me, but I do love Black with Anthracite Turinis Here's a fairly similar photo comparison of the two :
  24. Jimbob 2705

    Arctic Blue vs Black Gold

Thanks All! Problem is I live out in the countryside, the close road with white markings is 7 miles away....so keeping it clean is probably going to be a major pain! Also I'm thinking if you did catch a hedge (which unfortunately you have to sometimes) Black will show the scratches a lot worse...

    Arctic Blue vs Black Gold

I did do a search for past threads, problem is that most of the photos have been lost so I can't actually see them. Anybody got a photo of a Black 182 next to an Arctic Blue 182? If they were both full fats on Black/Anthracite Turinis that would be perfect! Trying to decide which colour to go...

How much difference does it really make?

Thanks all, seems that it really does make a lot of difference. At least I know now for looking - either get one which has had the belts done at a specialist or get one which hasn't had the belts done for cheaper and get the belts done by a specialist.... Thanks all

How much difference does it really make?

What are the consequences of the timing being out?
  28. Jimbob 2705

How much difference does it really make?

I'm starting at looking getting a Clio 182 a lot more seriously and obviously making sure the belts and pulley is done is a main factor Now how much difference does it make regarding getting the belts done by a Specialist rather than a normal garage? Just so I can work out if I'm going to...

    Daniels Blue 182.

Just read this thread from scratch...and what a great read! Really tidy Arctic you've got there Dan, think it looks just about perfect! Only possible thing I would consider is changing to Turinis?
