Sorted the boost control table yesterday, now have 1 bar upto 75% throttle, 1.25bar at 85%, 1.5bar at WOT. Only issue is at 1.5bar it wheelspins in 4th lol!

What tools have you used? I know someone who is a specialist fitted a set of 438's last year and got it very slightly wrong and when the Dephaser engaged it was clipping valves. But also 120psi is crap. I'd want to see 190+! If you're turning the engine with no cams and it was easy/air escaping...

Standard springs are under tension. Even new eibachs are, but not enough to warrant spring compressors if you're feeling confident

I'm not convinced. I've fitted loads of these and never had an issue with them loosing compression after turning it over for a few seconds.

It is wrong if the pulleys aren't loosened as you can't rotate the whole assembly to equalise tension.

No. Just no. If it's a bearing, wd40 will make it worse. If it's the belt, wd40 will make it worse. Find the problem and fix it properly.

197's need the dephaser.

It won't be the belt slipping. Mine was fine blowing 10psi.

No point in binning off the dephaser on mild cams IMO.

Rstuning, or both @MicKPM and @Andyrg@ ClioTurbo are doing belts with dephasers for around the £500 mark for a bit of travelling.

Erm, yeh. It was running 32psi when I took it out last night (forgot to select the boost control port on the ecu DOH!) at which point it was going what ever direction it wanted (using 2 lanes of the dual carriageway) and I was along for the ride. But that was with the tracking out etc so it was...

Yeh they're common for leaking now. Prise it out with a screw driver and tap the new one home with a socket.
