The ecu runs closed loop on partial throttle, so that's the economic map, and full throttle will give the performance map. And 50-75% throttle will give the original.
Doesn't the quaife multiply the torque of that with the least grip over to the wheel with the most grip?
I.e you have 25% traction on the left so it sends 75% of the torque over to the right?
there was loads of things missing that would only have been missing after the clutch change imo. like:-
starter heatshield
gearbox mount bolts
gearbox bolts that holt it to the engine (only 4 were put in!)
mechanically its alright now I had my way with it. the new owner is slowly tidying...
On higher powered stuff with crude boost control (no electronic way of mapping it) yeh I can understand, but with modern boost control I struggle to see the point tbh.
No point. The throttle body isn't restrictive. I ran 200bhp on the standard throttle body.
Diff will make a massive difference but its circa £1500 to be fitted.
