Bet somethings not taken kinding to having the engine/interior loom plug disconnected whilst powered. Could be a million things there really as pretty much everything goes through it, although with some luck its just desyncronised the immobiliser codes.
Short answer is you need someone with a...
Pass, usual checking for shorts really. Doesn't supply the actual ecu, its powering the fuel pump, injectors, coil pack, etc so check everything really.
It will be fine without a remap and will make no noticable difference at all tbh. The biggest trouble with the 1.6 is getting the required piping to fit one.
More effort but if you can be bothered to do them like this its a far less permanent install.

As far as I was aware the a sunroof wasn't avaliable because it comprimises the chassis slighty and reduces the rigidity of it. Can't see the pics but would imagine its an aftermarket jobbie and i'm 99.999% sure they were never avaliable like that from the factory.
You are pulling it towards you aren't you? Not up? Use the dial cover to pull the drivers side then the vents and the ridge on the side of the dash by the a pillar to pull the passenger side free, then roberts your fathers brother.
I fail to see how people struggle with taking them off tbh.
Tbh no matter what you do sticking to n/a is going to make a massive difference in mid range or the torque full stop, its just not the charateristic of any high output small capacity n/a engine.
Mid range is a boosted forte, and then you loose out on the top end (although not that much...
Bumper off to get the headlight off. With the adjuster removed it'll allow the lense to move far enough back to let the bulb drop into the back where you'll be able to get it to drop out, think i've managed to do this before once its a good way to turn a 30 second job into a 30 minute one.
The bulbs dieing basically, they tend to fade rather than just pop. They've only got a x hours rated working life so they will need replacing eventually.
Never had a problem with mine at all, on both my old 9855R with the adapter and the full speed 9887R i've got now. Charges from the headunit when powered and turns off with the ignition.
Mine used to go to the stop as well, never felt right but the brakes were properly bled and it'd stop no problems and never had any fade issues so just ignored it in the end.
Never understood the cost arguement for 95 muck over vpower tbh, its always 7p dearer than 95 so costs a few quid over the cost of a full tank of normal which imo isn't worth sweating over. Have one less pint and you're there.
Not sure I could stick with a 100% standard car tbh, not anytime soon anyway. Cars are one of my hobbies(ish) and I just can't resist fiddling with them somehow. Only really bother with subtle mods anyway really, nothing major/permanent.
Doesn't look that bad imo but not the prettiest, loved the noise mine made though. Just a shame they seem to have designed it without actually seeing a 172, the cat joint insert needs about an inch cutting off it to get it to fit a Ph2 properly without it knocking on anything.
Pisch video but a...
Also the worst fitting though, took lots of fettling to get mine to sit 100% straight and be close enough to the bumper. Did sound absolutely mint though that I will agree on.
It doesn't work though really and the standard system is more than good enough, theres a reason 99% of theives just break into the house for the keys/keycard.
