NavFree is superb and free. Had it for ages, always works but make sure you find the address via the GOOGLE SEARCH OPTION don't use it's internal search. Uses your GPS chip so no need to worry about data usage. Paying £50 on a sat nav app is plain stupidity.

I use Shiftworker to work out my Rota on a rolling basis and it's pretty good. It's not that great at adding events etc though so I need a calendar app. I've looked at the supplied one with the phone and it's really poor? No detailed weekly view or anything like that. On the AppStore "week...

How do I download the update then if I don't need to plug the phone in? I know it's over the air but how do I initiate that?
