You'll need BB Desktop Manager mate, which you can get 5.0 from here. Pick version 5.0 and it's your choice then if you go for the one with Roxio media manager or not.
You'll also want to get the latest OS for the 8800 which you can get from here. Just be sure to fully back up your phone...
Enjoy your lemon. I look forward to the threads that come from the purchase...I expect the first one about 10 minutes after you get home, on the back of a flat bed. PMSL.
You're not bothering to listen to the same advice over and over, so f**k it you deserve the f**king heap.
I'd start by dumping the browser cache and doing a battery pull. If that doesn't work try getting App World installed -> http://uk.blackberry.com/services/appworld/download.jsp#tab_tab_download. You can grab the FB app from there OTA or also from...
You can also add people to BBM 5.0 using this barcode thingy, BBM -> Berrybutton -> Add Contact -> Scan barcode (you can also find yours within the same menu and choose to save it ;)), so here's mine.
If you're feeling brave, you could install the leaked version of BBM 5.0. Massive improvements over the current version, but it is beta software so be warned and make sure you do a full backup first.
Link.
I'm just installing now. :)
If that doesn't work try following the advice in this post -> http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=8300&message.id=23974#M23974
Happened to me too but only with you. I thought you didn't want to have BB cyber with me. :(
I've tried resending the request to your PIN. Are you using a Curve by any chance? Resending your service books might sort it.
Do you have a fully white wifi icon or a green tick showing next to the wifi connection under manage connections? If not you're not connecting via BIS/BES so it won't use Wifi for pretty much anything and instead pass through GPRS.
Odd. I'm home now, as soon as I get on the drive my Bold connect with the Wifi network and anything that uses BIS goes through Wifi as it should.
What's the browser default set to under browser config? Should be 'Internet Browser'.
Have you scanned for the network and created a profile for it, or if it's only a temp hotspot set it as such for a 24 hour connect? If so the Wifi icon should go white, instead of grey, which means you have a full BIS (or BES if you're that way inclined) connectivity. The browser should then...
TBH a CS session probably wouldn't work out to be cheaper, would need 30+ cars just to bring it down to below the cost of just buying a session normally...and I doubt that will happen lol. A mixed session is no biggie IMO and Future don't usually struggle to get people on the same time session...
No problem.
I'll be tracking. It's not good value for money but f**k it, it's only £30 and something to do. I've not done track time at Trax before though as I've usually been trackside taking pictures, but a lot of my friends have in the past and enjoyed it.
It's experience for me, so I can...
He doesn't have to be flexible on the price, you've already stated how much you are going to pay. Seriously, don't waste the guys time, just walk away and spend your cash on one you've actually bothered to look at, test drive and check out before agreeing to buy.
