Minutes? Cant be that accidic surely?
I know if left to dried it will but ive found if got rid off within a few hours and not left a day or two its not cause any harm
I wet sanded mine out, It lightly etches the clearcoat.
Propper pain in the ass. But a few coats of collonite 476 has slowed the process down, I still get the s**t off straight away though.
I used a pressure gauge, Let air out untill it was about 19psi.
First time had no leaks dry testing..
It was only passanger side i couldnt get the bottle to seal for a while but was ok after that. Think the rubber washer for the bottle is slightly too big and ends up kinking letting air...
This is the sort of quotes i was hoping for, But in the back of my mind know i wont get really.
If i could pay £1800 for a sport insurance, Its a lot but i would
Realisticly i think they will want around £2500-3000.
Need to get a year or twos NCB sadly.
Might get a project car with a low...
The lid was going on at a slight angle, As if it was cross threading. But it wasnt. Im not sure what was going on. I would have to keep putting it on and in the end it would seal. Maybe just a bad lid.
Just finished bleeding my brakes today using eezibleed. Good kit but the bottle's lid keps going on at a funny angle and not sealing. All bled now though and im happy. Not much of a change in the pedal feel, But i guess i would need some braided lines if i want improovement which i cant be...
As said the reason for no one doing it is because the costs would probably out-weigh the result.
If you can do it for a fair price. Which i doubt? then go for it!
Think there a tenner in halfords for silvertechs.
Joshhatton on here sells silver indicators cheap, I dont know if hes got anymore sets though. I just got some through from him.. They seem alright but id rather pay the extra and get silvertechs/silvervisions next time.
The age doesnt help, Its a pain in the ass.
Im going to try and get quotes after my birthday.
I will be 19, 1 years driving, 0 years ncb. I might try for 3rd party.
But i think i will have to wait and get some ncb under my belt. Maybe on a 1.6 be it a golf or something else etc.
I got mine from ebay for a tenner, Had them on for a year and have worked well for me. But starting to not work so well now.
For a tenner im just going to re order, Look much better and work much better than standard.
And tbh normal wipers need changing every year or so i think so worth it.
